Welcome to the Cheeky Family! A youth hostel fully dedicated to surf culture and to meeting new people.
Ideally located 2 minutes walk from the ocean, in the heart of Lacanau -yet secluded from its city life. Your surf house is at the hub of all entertainments Lacanau can offer.
Lodgings according to your needs
The hostel can provide you with various types of lodgings. We have 4 to 6 people dormitories with brand new bunk beds and a locker for each bed. For those wishing to have more privacy, we offer two kinds of double room. The “Normal double room” allows you the option to sleep in the same bed or separate it into twin beds.
The “Comfy double room” benefits from a private bathroom with the option to accommodate a third guest depending on your needs. J
The hostel offers two common bathroom facilities, one for women and one for men, both with 2 showers and 4 toilets (one of which is outdoors). A fully furbished kitchen is at your disposal for cooking and sharing together around the large dining-room table.

Friendliness is our watchword, you can gather in the living room which offers various small lounges to chill, chat, play table soccer, challenge someone to a chess game or just enjoy the moment with the other guests.
As soon as we open you can pop to the bar to relax, have breakfast, drinks to freshen up after a good surf lesson with our surf school or experiment “aperitif” during the evenings!
Our wooden terrace filled with flowers feels just like home, with an open area to sunbathe or for a quick nap in the hammock. We also have a sheltered area for those who’d rather stay in the shade, protected from sun burns.
Our hostel in Lacanau Ocean also grants full access to disabled people.
