The Surf camp is the perfect option to combine surf courses with lodging. It’s a full immersion in the universal surf culture, only an hour from Bordeaux for those who wish to have a glimpse at this UNESCO’s Word Heritage city.
The Surf camp packages includes ânights at the hostelâ & âsurf coursesâ, located in Lacanau Ocean’s south beach, only a 2 minute walk from the waves!
It’s the ideal hostel in Lacanau to experiment the surf spirit, with a unique decor stimulating all your senses, in which you’ll be able to relax in a familiar atmosphere and feel just like home.
This mix aims to give you the chance (during your trip and your surf courses) to share your thoughts and feelings, meet as many people as you can and head-off with a bunch of good memories!

Your Surf camp
Youâll meet your instructor at the beginning of your stay and he’ll guide you for the whole surf trip. You’ll stay in the same group for a better follow-up and a progressive improvement during the week.
Surf courses are delivered each day according to the ocean conditions and the tide schedule; groups (up to 8 people) are managed according to each person’s age and level of practice.
At the end of each surf course, the next day schedule will be given to you; the only thing left to do is to chill out in the dedicated space, on a sofa, in the hammock in the outdoor terrace or in our comfy indoor lounges!
Thanks to the Surf camp package you get a 30% discount on gear rentals, so that you can improve your skills -alone or with your mates- applying your instructor’s advice!
The Cheeky hostel, in Lacanau
You have different sleeping options at the Surf camp, 4 to 6 beds dormitories to meet new people and double or triple rooms for more privacy.
You’ll be granted access to all facilities; bedrooms, wash rooms (with three toilettes), two bathrooms each for men and women, along with a fully furbished kitchen. In Our big indoor lounge we provide various board and card games, a reading corner and some music instruments. We also offer an outdoor âchilledâ space -with a sheltered area, some sofas, a hammock to relax and big tables to share a meal with the whole Cheeky Family.
Weâd like to inform you that people under the age of 18 require a responsible adult during their stay at the hostel.
